We fund raise for important cardiac research, carried out at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, which is where seriously sick children from Jersey are referred if in need of advanced cardiac support. The intensive care cubicle we funded in 2013 is in daily use in GOSH, London and the potential benefit from the latest project is enormous and could actually benefit children worldwide. Jersey relies on GOSH, and other UK based hospitals when its children are seriously ill, so our Appeal / Charity aims to give something back. Our daughter wouldn't have survived without her heart transplant at GOSH, and it was because of this our family set up the Love Hearts Appeal.
