About Healing Waves - Team ID: 2106
Aloha!
Established in 2017, Healing Waves is now delivering thousands of free of charge surf, paddleboarding and FlowRider sessions to over 500 individuals in need each year. We work towards breaking barriers and making the ocean a safe and accessible place for all. Hence why our services are and will always remain free of charge.
As strong believers in the therapeutic benefits of being in blue spaces, adventure and physical activity, we are beyond stoked to have been chosen as a beneficiary charity for the Lions Swimarathon 2024!
Being a small charity, we are always looking to take on fundraising opportunities, and this is why our team proudly decided to partake in this event.
On Wednesday the 13th of March, eight of our staff/volunteer team will be diving straight into the deep end, completing as many lengths as possible stroke by stroke.
As Healing Waves will celebrate its 7th birthday this year, we hope to raise £700.

Lions Club of Jersey - Swimarathon
The Lions Club of Jersey Swimarathon is Jersey's annual five day charity fundraising swim event supported by Active Jersey and sponsored by Titan Wealth. It has been running since 1972.
Every penny the swimmers raise goes to help local charities since Titan Wealth, our generous sponsors, fund all the event’s administrative costs. More information about this years beneficiaries can be found on our website.
The Lions Club of Jersey is one of the thousands of Lions Clubs situated all over the world, known collectively as "Lions International". it is the largest service organisation in the world.
