The Employment Social Security and Housing Wellbeing committee (and a few friends), are participating in the Lion's Club Swimarathon. For some of the team swimming is second nature to them, others have practised especially for this Swimarathon. Please, if you can, donate to support us. 

The theme for the year is 'Supporting Islanders Affected by Cancer'. Every penny the swimmers raise goes to help local charities since Ravenscroft, our generous sponsors, fund all the event’s administrative costs. The charities chosen this year are ABC Breast Cancer Support Jersey, CLIC Sargent Jersey, Friends of Jersey Oncology, Jersey Brain Tumour Charity, Jersey Cancer Relief, Macmillan Cancer Support and Jersey Hospice. In addition, we are investigating how we may sponsor a Jersey linked post-graduate student for cancer research.
