About Team Aurum
Aurum Home Care are delighted to be taking on this challenge to raise money for Dementia Jersey.
Dementia not only effects the individual diagnosed but also has a significant impact on their entire family. It can be a long and challenging journey, but with the right support, families can navigate these difficulties together. Support groups, counselling, and caregiving resources play a crucial role in helping families cope. It is also important for caregivers to prioritise their own well-being and seek help when needed. By raising awareness and providing practical support, we can ensure that no one faces dementia alone.
Lynda has worked in health care from the age of 16 and has supported many clients and their families through Dementia.
Mia at a very young age helped to support her grandmother who’s wishes were to remain at home with support and care from family members.
Both girls are looking forward to taking on this challenge to raise as much funds as possible for Dementia Jersey.
