About Lena Oliveira
I have chosen to take on another Camino and this year, I've chosen to raise money for Dementia Jersey.
Dementia Jersey is the the only local charity in Jersey for people with dementia and those who care for them. They provide expert support on dementia, raise awareness and campaign to improve services to create a more dementia friendly island.
I intend to walk just over 1000kms in around 45 days. I will be starting my walk in Bayonne (France) and will finish in Santiago de Compostela (Spain). On my route, I'll pass through Irun, Burgos, Leon, Oviedo, Lugo, Arzua, Santiago then I will head to Fisterra and Muxia and back to Santiago.
I will be going solo, carrying by own bag all the way and staying in simple accommodation. This trip is self funded.
All money raised on this page goes directly towards supporting people in Jersey affected by dementia. Every penny counts, so all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
