About Hawksford
We have chosen to raise money for MacMillan Jersey in recognition of the amazing support they have provided, not only to current members of staff, but also many friends and family. They offer free emotional, practical and wellbeing information and assistance to people in Jersey with any type of cancer and at any stage, along with their families and friends. We will be undertaking various challenges throughout the year including cycling, running and rowing to name a few and carrying out various fundraising initiatives.

Not only do we have Jered taking on the full marathon on Sunday 6 October but also Jake Vieira. We also have a relay team from our Family Office Comprising on Ian Vieira, Zara Campbell, Will Van Neste, Josh Snowden and Ryan Vivian. They are all also running to raise money for Macmillan and in support of Jered. It really is a team effort this year. We also have staff volunteering on the day to help cheer not only them, but all the runners on
Jered takes on the Jersey Marathon - Sunday 6 October

Jered has been training hard and set himself the challenge of completing the Jersey Marathon on Sunday 6 October. He is such an inspiration having fought cancer not once but twice. He is a true inspiration and shows that with positivity, strength and determination you can put your mind and body to anything. It seemed only fitting that he is raising money for Macmillan Jersey the charity that helped him throughout his cancer journey. We are all so very proud of you. Looking forwards to coming along to support and cheer you on.
Round the Rock Trail Marathon - Saturday 3 August

On Saturday 3 August Christa will be taking part in the Round The Rock Trail Marathon with an elevation of 2,514 ft. Not like any normal marathon this will see you take on the challenging north coast, before the long stretch of St Ouen's then back to trail round to Noirmont and then the long road home. Training is going well and she is looking forward to taking on the challenge.

CONGRATULATIONS STEVE MESSENGER ON COMPLETING RIDE LONDON IN PRETTY CHALLENGING CONDITIOSN
RideLondon – 25,000 riders will take part in the 100-mile challenge giving riders a unique opportunity to cycle on traffic-free roads through some of the most famous streets of London and the picturesque villages and countryside of neighbouring Essex. The ride starts on the embankment, finishing on the iconic Tower Bridge 100 miles later.
We are all getting behind our colleagues for all their various challenges. Still to come are a trail marathon, a summer cycle challenge covering 400km, the October Jersey marathon plus other fun and quirky activities.
Rowathon - Saturday 6 April

We held an Easter bake sale in the weeks leading up to the Rowathon to help us raise more money and support our team. We were delighted on the day that our team of 6 finished in 7th place which was a fantastic effort considering none of us are rowers at all. It was a amazing morning with so much team spirit and encouragement from everyone taking part. Although it was hard work we absolutely loved it.
