About Lorna & Jamie Pestana
Anyone who knows us, knows we love to travel, however we normally plan our holidays well in advance with flights, taxis and hotels carefully selected, and then Jamie plans the itinerary (using a spreadsheet of course!). Spontaneity is not something we are comfortable with so this will be a real challenge...setting off from Jersey to St Malo with no idea of how we are going to get to Monaco within the deadline....no travel or accommodation booked...no idea where the checkpoints are going to take us...but we are so up for this! We are doing this to raise funds for Jersey Employment Trust (JET) who support people with disabilities and long-term health conditions secure and sustain employment. Lorna is a Trustee of JET and is delighted to be able to do something different to show our support, outside of her normal Trustee duties.

Jersey Employment Trust
The Jersey Employment Trust is a registered charity that supports Islanders who have a disability or long-term health condition secure and sustain work. Our social enterprise Acorn in Trinity also provides work and training opportunities.
Across the organisation, we support more than 500 people a year. More than half of our clients now report mental health issues as their primary disability.
