About Burns baby Burns (euro inferno)
We’re Andy and Jane Burns. We are young(!) adventurers at heart, and proud participants in the JET Jaunt, a unique fundraising challenge organised by Jersey Employment Trust (JET).
We’ve signed up for a fun-filled, slightly chaotic, and definitely unforgettable race from St Malo to Prague. We are doing because we love a challenge, especially one that combines sustainable travel, seeing new places, and supporting such an incredible cause.
Meet team Burns baby Burns (euro inferno)
Andy is our logistics guru. He’s organised, cool, calm and collected, a sharp problem-solver with a good sense of direction. No route too complex, no train timetable too obscure.
Jane is the mouth of the operation with the ability to talk her way in or out of anything She’s calm under pressure and possibly fearless (though we haven’t tested her with snakes... yet).
Together, we’re setting out on a mad dash across Europe, fuelled by local beverages, camaraderie, and a genuine passion for the brilliant work of Jersey Employment Trust.
This isn’t just a jolly. JET (Jersey Employment Trust) help people in Jersey with disabilities and long-term health conditions to find and sustain employment. Through tailored support, mentoring, training, and workplace partnerships, JET empowers individuals to build confidence, gain skills, and thrive in work and life. Every pound you sponsor us will help JET continue this amazing work.

Jersey Employment Trust
The Jersey Employment Trust is a registered charity that supports Islanders who have a disability or long-term health condition secure and sustain work. Our social enterprise Acorn in Trinity also provides work and training opportunities.
Across the organisation, we support more than 500 people a year. More than half of our clients now report mental health issues as their primary disability.
