About Cardwells On The Run!
Heard of 'Race Around The World'? Well this is the Hazel and Geraldine version which we're calling 'Cardwells On The Run'!
In support of the fantastic local charity Jersey Employment Trust (JET), we're taking part in the 'JET Jaunt' to race from St Malo to Prague in just 2.5 days with no flights allowed, no accommodation booked, and no idea if we’ll make it by the deadline - or indeed at all! We set off on Friday 19th September but make no promises as to when we'll be raising our first celebratory Staropramen...
JET says their mission is simple: ‘to help people with disabilities and long-term health conditions reach their full potential in the workplace’. We know that securing the right employment opportunities isn’t always easy and we’re delighted to help raise funds to allow them to continue their important work. We’d love it if you would sponsor us to undertake this challenge to show your support too.

The Jersey Employment Trust is a registered charity that supports Islanders who have a disability or long-term health condition secure and sustain work. Our social enterprise Acorn in Trinity also provides work and training opportunities.
Across the organisation, we support more than 500 people a year. More than half of our clients now report mental health issues as their primary disability.
