About Mike & Nicki
This September, Mike and Nicki are raising money for Jersey Employment Trust (JET) - a fantastic organisation who help those with disabilities and mental health conditions into employment. Through their dedication, JET assist over 500 islanders each year.
Our adventure to Prague starts in St. Malo. Using only public transport, can we navigate our way to Prague in either the quickest, or most frugal way possible?
Competing against 20+ teams, our race to Prague will be made all the more difficult given the unique set of challenges we must undertake to reach mystery checkpoints along the way. Challenges we will only be made aware of when we leave Jersey!
This experience will be full of adventure, challenges, problem solving and little sleep. It will be a test of patience for both of us - as Nicki lacks any sense of direction and Mike is known to have got lost on many occasions…!!
We would be grateful for sponsorship - supporting our local community here in Jersey is important to us both. We felt extremely motivated to partake in this event in memory of our late friend Dean, who tirelessly worked hard at JET to help individuals into the local workplace.

The Jersey Employment Trust is a registered charity that supports Islanders who have a disability or long-term health condition secure and sustain work. Our social enterprise Acorn in Trinity also provides work and training opportunities.
Across the organisation, we support more than 500 people a year. More than half of our clients now report mental health issues as their primary disability.
