About Emancipated Run Crew
After the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, Emancipated Run Crew is asking you to join us for Run for Jamaica — a 5K /10k run/walk of love and unity. we’re coming together as a community to run in solidarity and raise funds to support those affected. You can register for the event on Eventbrite here.
If you're unable to join us at the Jamaica High Commission on Sunday 9 November, so you can still donate by clicking the Sponson Now button on this page.
100% of the funds donated (less any fees charged by the donation platform) will be donated directly to the Jamaican Governnemt's Office of Disaster Preparedness Emergency Management.

Emancipated Run Crew
Emanicpated Run Crew (ERC) was set up in 2019 by sisters Denise and Julia Stephenson (@we_run_we_eat) and friend Trojan Gordon (@thebeardedrunner) who were determined to challenge the lack of diversity in grassroots running by creating a virtual space where black and brown runners can support and encourage each other whatever our running goal. We will help you to run your own race and in doing so encourage you to Run Free!
