About Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service Team
On June 6th, a team from Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service (Red Watch) is taking on the ultimate local challenge. The 39-mile Saffrey Rotary Island Walk 2026.
But walking Guernsey's beautiful (and incredibly steep) coastline isn't enough. To make every mile count for our local charities, we are completing the entire trek in full structural firefighting kit and carrying a breathing apparatus (BA) set with us.
It's going to be hot, heavy and incredibly gruelling, but our motivation is rock solid. So please dig as deep as you can afford, support our team, and help us turn real sweat into real support for the amazing Bailiwick charities that have been selected by the Rotary club this year.
