For people that know me well, know that I'm always looking for new challenges to push myself mentally and physically, after managing to complete this last year in 5:52:07, about 1 month of training teice a week this yesr i m aiming high! Sub 4 1/2 hours.
I will be doing the Mac100 on the 20th August to support and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey.
For thoughs that don't know what the MAC100 is, it's a 100k cycle around Jersey, the path consists of some tough hills and 100k of pedaling, and alot of determination and mental power, you get to a stage your body starts to hurt in places you never new could, you mind wants you to give up, this is when you have to dig deep!
Unfortunately cancer has affected and will carry on affecting millions of people every year, and with charities still not recovered from COVID times and now cost of living crises resulting in less donations and events being run. They are having to stretch every penny they get to make sure that they can still provide their patients with the best service possible to give them the best chance of survival!
I would be very greatful and it would give me that extra push to complete the 100k cycle if you could donate to this cause following the link below! Be it you donate £1 or £10 it will help make a difference and could save someone's life.
For people interest, on the 20th August (MAC100 day) you will be able to track my progress and results using the race nation app under MAC100 event.
