One of the four original 'overweight' Curistas, I'm back for the 10th ride, more overweight than ever, and in no way ready to tackle the 100km of pedalling and 2000m of vertical climbing that I'm going to be undertaking. That'll entail the Montée à Gourdon and the Col de Vence, both of which you can Google if you feel like seeing just how foolish a human I am, and imagining just how much pain I'm going to be in.
To remind anyone who's arrived here, and is questioning how much to give: Le Cure is entirely self-funded and volunteer-supported, so every single penny you donate will go directly to one of the 7 Le Cure Fellowships at the Royal Marsden. You're not funding anyone's cycling holiday here - not least because if I had the choice, I really, really wouldn't be going on a cycling holiday...
