Take on The Mont Orgueil Challenge Abseil For Headway!
Are you ready to take on this iconic challenge and the descent of Mont Orgueil Castle?
Join Headway Jersey under the expert guidance of Jersey Adventures for this experience of a lifetime ( please see terms and conditions)
Your essential 2 hour training and familiarisation session takes place on Saturday 7th October 2023 at St. Catherine's Breakwater and includes a cliff face abseil on the day. This is mandatory even if you have abseiled before.
Your Castle abseiling experience takes place the following day at Mont Orgueil Castle on Sunday 8th October 2023.

Spaces are strictly limited to 40 participants - Age limit 18 years old+.
£35 Participation fee
Minimum fundraising commitment of £50 per person, although we will be extremely grateful if you are able to raise more, which will help us to continue to provide our life changing services for those who have suffered from Stroke, Brain Tumour, Aneurysm and Accidents amongst many other causes and their families.
Your fundraising must have been evidenced by Wednesday 4th October 2023. Should there be any shortfall the difference must be made up.

Abseiling is a challenging physical activity and does require a modest level of fitness and flexibility.
You will be required to climb through and over railings and also walk up a steep incline for the St. Catherine's cliff face abseil and walk up 200 steps and climb over a railing within the castle.
Please be aware that spectators are only allowed into Mont Orgueil Castle through either being a Jersey Heritage member and showing their card or by paying the standard entry relevant at the time.
