Hello,

I am Marlon Phillips and am currently living on the beautiful British Isle of Jersey in the Channel Islands, over from the lovely Jamaica. 

I have had a love-hate relationship with running for a long time, from the elementary school days where I was the star of the 100m flat and 4 x 100m relays team; to high school and college days where I did very little of that stuff. Fast forward to early 2019 when I got back into it, buoyed by the buzz of activity in Jersey. And I 'timed' as right as running got me through the covid-19 lockdowns. I have since gone on to run two marathons...with the elusive London Marathon ballot evading me year after year and was considered a far-fetched dream...

....until a great opportunity came up for me to run on behalf of Headway Jersey :)  And why not, with the charity supporting and improving life after brain injury for countless islanders in Jersey. I am excited to get behind this incredible cause and raise some funds in the process. I am sure this will go a long way in enabling Headway Jersey to continue to provide essential support, information and services to people in Jersey who are affected by brain injury.
