This year I have decided to take part in the Oxford Town and Gown 10k, I would by no means call myself a runner, therefore this is going to be a big challenge! As some of you may know, Muscular Dystrophy UK is a very important charity for my family and I want to try my best to raise some money for them. Even a little can go along way in helping support families affected by the condition and funding new research. Thank you
Entries for the Bidwells Oxford 10k have now SOLD OUT. If you'd like to be the first to hear about our 2025 event, please register your interest on our website www.townandgown10k.com/oxford
Taking place on Sunday 12 May 2024, Oxford Town and Gown is the oldest run in the series. It started in 1982 by local runners as a fun run to raise funds for muscular dystrophy and still to this day all profits from the race go to Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK).
Our unique route is the only closed-road City Centre 10k in Oxford with a glorious stretch along the River Cherwell and finish in the University Parks. In 2019, the run was awarded Best 10k in South East England by the Running Awards.
