Joanne has chosen to raise funds for The Rotary Guernsey Walk Trust and is taking part in Saffery Rotary Walk 2024
I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in 2015. Bright Tights gave me so much support and I’m walking with Rachel Remfrey to support Bright tights in return! The charity supports the emotional, financial and practical needs of those having treatment. The walk will help us raise money to provide clear online resources and educational content about the charity and gynae cancers.
To organise the annual Rotary Guernsey Walk around the island as a means to raise funds which are then distributed to charities & non-profit organisations registered on the public register in the Bailiwick. The Walk is currently known as Saffery Rotary walk
To mark the important milestone of reaching this our 25th Round Island Walk, we have selected 25 worthy Bailiwick Charities who will each receive a share of money raised to fund specific projects or initiatives that have been pre-qualified by us.
