My name is Laura and I am pushing myself out of my comfort zone by taking part in this challenge along with 2 of my work friends on behalf of our work BCR Law LLP in which we will be abseiling from a height of 27 metres.

Having worked in health care for over 4 years this is a charity that is very close to my heart. I have seen first hand the devastating effect Dementia has on individuals and their families therefore I am very happy and excited to be raising money in aid of Dementia Jersey.

Dementia Jersey do an amazing job in supporting these individuals by providing a range of services such as therapeutic activities, educational programmes and also free counselling sessions.

All funds raised from this event will stay in Jersey to support islanders affected by Dementia.
