Jade has chosen to raise funds for Dementia Jersey and is taking part in Dementia Jersey Abseil March 2024
I have worked in the healthcare industry in several capacities for over 20 years, and I currently work for 4Health home care. I have had the privilege of supporting many people over the years with dementia, and I think dementia jersey is a vital charity that does amazing work, and is a huge help and support to many families.
We are helping to make Jersey a more Dementia friendly island. We want all those people affected by Dementia, or living with the disease to be understood, welcomed and supported.
All funds raised from our abseil event will stay in Jersey to support islanders affected by dementia.
Dementia Jersey offers expert advice, support, and information to anyone affected by dementia in Jersey. We offer therapeutic activities through art, music & swimming, brain training & reorientation programmes, carer support groups and provide educational programmes to the community. Together our services help connect people and create a more dementia friendly island.
