Our journey began as a team challenge, but it quickly transformed into something deeply personal. After discussing it with my family, including my 7-year-old son, the challenge took on new significance. In a quiet moment, my son looked at me with pride and admiration and asked to join me on this journey.

Though we’re only participating in the Lieutenant Governor’s challenge, which covers 13.1 miles, it means the world to me, especially because walking isn’t exactly my favorite activity. But I’ll be doing it alongside one of my best buddies!

This challenge has become more than just a physical feat; it’s now a shared experience between a mother and son. I want to dedicate it to all the parents out there who are tirelessly raising the next generation.
