About Oliver Sims

Profile picture

I am 9 years old and enjoy cycling my bike! I am looking forward to completing my first charity bike ride and the 15 mile challenge with my Dad! I enjoy helping people and hoping to raise money towards the Alzheimer and Dementia Support Services and the Rotary Club all based in Gravesham. If you are able to support me and make a pledge then that would be great. Thank you Oliver!

Fundraising Information

This fundraising page benefits the following good cause:

The Rotary Club of Gravesham With Ebbsfleet Trust Fund

We are part of Rotary International – service clubs around the World through which people use their skills and knowledge to  serve their local communities and support work in other countries to improve the lives of their peoples. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Our Trust Fund is a registered charity so we can invite you to tick that box for Gift Aid which adds even more funds to help Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services and other Rotary supported charities.

Gravesham with Ebbsfleet Rotary came about through the linking of the Gravesend and Northfleet with Ebbsfleet Garden City groups and now takes on the stewardship of On Your Bike, the charity cycle ride that has been happening for over 30 years!

We want more people in Rotary as our communities need more help and support at these difficult times. Contact us at gwerotary@gmail.com

About On Your Bike 2024

Ride our 15, 30 or 45 mile routes that start and finish beside the River Thames at Gravesend. You will ride through many of the most beautiful country lanes in Kent.

Get On Your Bike for the best organised event in the South East. You will have support from our Check Points (with light refreshments), Raynet radio links and support vehicles if needed. All with the support of Gravesend Cyclists Touring Club.

The 15 mile route is just right for a family ride or a beginners’ event as it uses a section of the SUSTRANS national cycle path. The 30 and 45 routes are suited to the more experienced riders.

Get your family and friends to join in, or organise a team with four or more entries from work, club, pub, school or just your neighbourhood. When you register from this point (after 5 May) your rider pack will be ready for you to collect on the day from Gravesend Riverside, the start location.

Through RaceNation and SportsGiving you can register today, make your donation and automatically have a sponsorship page created.

Select your ticket when the entry is completed we will confirm your rider number.

Our main beneficiary is Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Services (ADSS) and we will also be helping other Rotary supported charities.

We have a set a target of £20,000 and ask you to make a voluntary personal donation of £20 or more which you can make when registering for the event.

Every entrant will have the benefit of a SportsGiving page which you can share with family and friends to encourage sponsorship for your cycling.
