My mother who died in May 2024 but had been successfully treated for Breast Cancer at The Royal Marsden in the past.  While I enjoy cycling this is a lot of vertical feet to climb in one day and I wanted , in my mothers name, to support Le Cure, which has made a real difference to the outcome for many breast cancer patients, as you can see here https://www.lecure.org

About Le Cure 2024

Dear Curistas

As you probably know, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  So far we have raised over £2.7 million to fund our Le Cure fellowships, but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.

So here we are - time to cycle up mountains again!  This year the route is based around Mt Blanc and will take us from Meribel (and over the formidable Col de la Loze) into Italy and Switzerland before we head to the finale in Chamonix, at the heart of the French Alps.

Whether you're joining us for the whole event or the last day, get signing up and get cycling!  It promises to be another great year raising money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
