My gran had Dementia which she tried to manage as best she could.
In her latter years, it was hard for us all as a family to watch her condition deteriorate.
The care and support provided by Dementia Jersey became an important part of the grieving and healing process which I remain very grateful for.
I want to show my support for this event - I hope other families can benefit as we did and that future medical advances will help find a cure for this distressing illness.

We are helping to make Jersey a more Dementia friendly island. We want all those people affected by Dementia, or living with the disease to be understood, welcomed and supported.
To get involved, create a RaceNation account and then either download the Event Day app to track and log your miles, or link up your Strava app. You can use an indoor exercise bike for this challenge if you prefer, just log your miles manually.
For manually uploads, you can upload your results as often as you like from whatever recording device you use. Simply take a screenshot, input your results and RaceNation will tally up for you along the way.
