The inaugural Heart to Heart 5k is a out & back race, starting and finishing at the Freedom Tree.

The event's aim is to raise enough money to purchase a AED (Automated External Defibrillator) which will be fitted on the outside of the Radisson Hotel and therefore will be accessible to the public. As runners and clubs, we all use this area extensively for training, so we can all benefit from having this potentially life-saving device fitted in an easily accessible location.

This event has been made possible by the generous support and funding of BNP Paribas, The Radisson Blu Hotel who have granted permission for the AED to be fitted to their building and the local run clubs on island who have pooled their time and resources to enable this event to happen. Specifically, Jersey Run Club, The Wolfpack, Rock n Road Runners, Jersey Spartan Athletic Club & Trail Monkey Jersey. This has been a truly collaborative event and has embodied everything we love about the local running community. Thank you for your support.

About Jersey Heart Support Group (JHSG)

"The JHSG actively support and encourage the placing ,delivery, training and use of AEDs (defibrillators) in Jersey. The charity also works alongside our Heart Team in the hospital and supports their campaigns and helps in supplying vital equipment to the team. All funds raised stay on Island to support our Cardiac community."
