I'm 1cm shorter than I used to be - mostly because I have 5 crushed vertabrae in my back. We don't choose what ilness, sickness or disease strikes us, or our family or friends, but what we can do is raise funds to support cutting-edge research, with the goal of finding better treatments and cures. With so many friends having suffered from Breast Cancer, I chose this to support.
Dear Curistas
As you probably know, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. So far we have raised over £3 million to fund our Le Cure fellowships, but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.
2025 promises to be another special year. Back in the heartlands of the French Alps, the route will see Curistas take on the spectacular Lacets de Montvernier, the mighty Galibier and finish with a double ascent of the fabled Alpe d'Huez.
Get signing up and get cycling! We can't wait for you to join us in the Alps and raising money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
