Over six days cyclists will ride from London to the MIPIM property fair in Cannes. In relay format, cyclists must complete at least two (of the five or six) stages each day, ranging from 40-60km each.
This is a charity ride providing you with a fantastic challenge and excellent networking opportunities.
I am very excited to have got a place on the 2018 Cycle to Mipim Ride. This is my first time doing the ride, and I am very grateful to have the support of my office Allford Hall Monaghan Morris to take part in the ride this year.
I am delighted that half of my Cycle to MIPIM fundraising will support Club Peloton’s own charities and the other half will go towards the Alder Centre, AHMM’s Charity of the Year. AHMM is working with the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool to design the new Alder Centre building and garden for families who have lost a child. It is a very special project for families who have just had their lives turned upside down.
This will be a challenge that will see me training through the winter months to prepare myself. I very passionate about cycling and have enjoyed it for many years now, both in competitive race events and recreationally with friends.
The ride takes place from London to the international retail estate show, MIPIM, in Cannes over 6 days, with a distance of 1,500km.
I will be taking part in the London – Caen – Cannes (via Portsmouth) route.
