Fundraising Information

This fundraising page benefits the following good cause:

Around the Island Walk Trust

Each year the trustees choose local charities to benefit from the funds raised through the Island Walk, whether that be from the entry fees or the sponsorship received.

The Trustee try to split the causes that they help, whether that be elderly/health, children/sport, environment or animals. Since inception over £2.9m has been raised with all the money going to local Jersey charities.  All the money raised is redistributed to the designated charities with the costs being funded by the sponsors, currently TMF Group.  All the Trustees, Organisation committee and supporters on the day give their time for free and there are no salaried individuals.

About Island Walk sponsored by TMF Group 2025

The Around the Island Walk Trust has four Walks that you can register for in 2025.  Our Walk returns on Saturday 21st June 2025.

Main Walk - covers 48.1 miles around the stunning coastline of Jersey. Starting at 3am from Elizabeth Terminal and goes in an anti-clockwise direction to catch the sunrise as you head east.  There are 13 checkpoints along the route where you will be supported and scanned to keep you safe and on track.

Relay - If 48.1 miles is a little daunting, why not get together with colleagues or friends and take on the challenge of the walk as a relay team with up to 4 members.

Lieutenant Governors Challenge - if you would like to do the walk in sections the LG Challenge allows you to take on a different stage of the relay each year. Each section is approx 12 miles and is lead by his Excellency the Lieutenant Governor of Jersey.

ONE TMF Challenge - this walk from Bel Royal to the finish line is designed for those who may find our other routes too challenging. Spanning approximately 2 miles along a flat, accessible path, it’s perfect for families with young children, wheelchair users, and anyone with mobility challenges. Join us for this inclusive experience and the joy of crossing the finish line together!

Over the last 34 years, 100's of local charities have benefited from donations exceeding £2.94 million - a few small steps can help make a BIG difference. Please remember that in registering for the Walk you are agreeing to support those specific local charities which have successfully applied to the Organisers for funds, the Walk is not intended as a vehicle to raise funds for other Charities.
