About Ana Francesca Gutierrez Crispini

Profile picture

The Saffery Rotary Walk has been on my bucket list for years. Raising money for local charities that help keep the island going, some of which have directly supported my grandparents, makes this challenge even more meaningful. Two birds, one stone.... and maybe a few missing toenails.

Since it’s a pretty long walk (39mi, 62.8km), I thought I shouldn’t suffer alone. So I’ve roped in my friend Tara, who’s never even been to the island before! We’ll be walking side by side for hours and hours, which got us thinking: we’re going to need a lot to talk about. That's where you come in. When you donate, add a question or topic in your comment. The higher your donation, the more likely your topic will be discussed on the walk. (We will also accept free suggestions, text us!). Our plan is to cover 1 topic per kilometer (depending on juiciness) and since we think our conversations are so interesting we will be recording them and may (or may not) be posting them as podcasts after the walk. Worst case? You’ll get a chaotic voice note!

Thank you for your support and if you're in Guernsey come by to see us! (and maybe bring us a sweetie or two)

About Saffery Rotary Walk 2025

BE PART OF GUERNSEY'S ONLY ROUND ISLAND WALK

Thank you for logging on. Our Walk will be returning on Saturday 7th June 2025. Sign up now and enjoy being part of Guernsey's premier long distance walk.
This walk is for you, whether you are living locally, a past Guernsey resident or someone from further afield. Every year hundreds of walkers from beyond our shores travel to Guernsey to experience this unique event. So if you know the Island or are simply curious to see Guernsey's beautiful coastline make sure you are part of our walk. If you are still not sure, just visit our website to learn more:- www.safferyrotarywalk.org.gg
RELAYS - If 39 miles is too big an ask, why not get together with colleagues or friends and take on the challenge of the walk as a relay team of between 4 and 7 in number.
FAMILIES - once again nearer the time we will be promoting our "Family Walk" for those who want to stroll the concluding miles of the walk as a family group. Groups (up to a maximum of 8) are invited to join the last two legs of the Walk so that young and old can enjoy being part of one of Guernsey's premier community events.
Learn more about our Relays or Family Group options via our web site www.safferyrotarywalk.org.gg

LET'S  DO SOME GOOD ALONG THE WAY
Our costs of staging the event are met by our generous corporate sponsors so every pound of sponsorship that you raise goes to our chosen charities without deduction. The Saffery Rotary Walk website provides all the information needed for those wishing to raise sponsorship as a walker and those who simply wish to support.
