“Caring Cooks is a charity dedicated to ensuring every child in Jersey has access to nutritious food and the skills to make healthy choices. This year, we are thrilled to be one of the 10 charities benefiting from the TMF Island Walk and we’re putting our best foot forward - literally!
We’ve put together a relay team for Caring Cooks, with each of us taking on 12 miles. The last time I attempted this challenge was 25 years ago - completely unprepared and with no training. Let’s just say it nearly finished me! Fast forward a quarter of a century and my knees aren’t quite up for the full route, but I’m determined to do my part in the relay with Sandy, Jo, Jean and Louise.
This event is not just about the miles; it’s about making a difference. Every pound raised will be shared across the 10 charities, supporting vital causes that impact our island community. Imagine the good you’ll be doing by sponsoring us, every step we take helps someone in need.
