To paraphrase a great modern poet Mr. D. Coverdale, here I go again. And again! 2025 will see me undertaking two great challenges for the Truants -- and it's never a chore. First up, I'll be joining the mothership for what's sure to be a grueling adventure across Namibia, Zambia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe -- a mighty challenge by any standard, and one that's sure to test our mettle and not for the first time. 
And once again I'll be joining the wonderful Heavy Metal Truants for our 13th annual pilgrimage to the hallowed grounds of Castle Donington and Download festival. 
To say it astounds me that this all began over a beer with Rod Smallwood is understating the case -- that we've raised millions for four kids charities is a source of so much pride for me, and I am very, very proud to join these hardy warriors to once again hit the road and raise even more. 
As ever I have paid 100% of my costs, so anything raised goes where it counts: to Teenage Cancer Trust, Nordoff & Robbins, Childline, and Save the Children.
