This year we will once again be organising the Coltishall Rainbow Run for the Friends of Coltishall Primary School charity.

The charity raises much needed funds for Coltishall Primary School and last year the money raised from the event enabled the school to build the "Happiness Hive" - a sanctuary for children to go amidst the craziness of everyday school life.  The Hive is a wooden hut that the charity was able to buy for the school.

Jessie has loved the Happy Minds initiative and says her favourite day at school is a Friday as they have their Happy Mind day there and she gets to help with tidy up in the Hive and pack things away.

We would all be so appreciative of any donations to help Jessie on her run (and to help get Barry & Wendy through the day with well over 500 people expected to turn up :))

Friends of Coltishall Primary School

Welcome!
The PTA, known as the Friends of Coltishall Primary School, would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and give you an idea of some of things we do. We hope that you will feel you want to support us and get involved with our socials and fund-raising activities.
The Friends overarching aim is to “Enhance the education of the pupils of Coltishall Primary by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school (not normally provided by the local authority)”. Alongside this we also want to create social opportunities for the whole school community to get together and have fun.
The Friends committee is made up of volunteer parents, grandparents and staff. We are backed up by a wider group of volunteers who help at the special events we organise throughout the year.
As a Committee we have an elected Chair, Secretary and Treasurer and as many other members who wish to join. A list of the current committee members can be found on the Friends Facebook page or on the school web-site. We are a friendly and open group and always welcome new members and fresh ideas! Why not come along to one of our half-termly meeting to check us out?
In today’s climate it is all the more necessary to provide money for all the extras which make life at Coltishall Primary all the more enriching and rewarding for the children.

About Coltishall Rainbow Run 2025

With just a few days to go until Rainbow Run 2025, we’re getting everything ready for an incredible day of colour, community and celebration!

This event is powered by a small team of volunteers working hard behind the scenes. 

To help keep things running smoothly on the day – and meet important health and safety requirements – we need your help with a few key things:

Runner Details – Please Check Yours!

Tickets are non-transferable unless the new runner’s details are fully updated

If you’ve passed on a ticket, the new participant must be properly registered and the medical disclaimer signed

Deadline for updates: Midnight, Wednesday 4th June

If details aren’t updated, the runner may not be able to take part

Please also be aware of scams – only buy/exchange tickets with someone you know and trust.

Race Pack Collection

All runners must check in on the day to collect their wristbands – even if you’ve already collected your pack.

No wristband = no run!

Collect your race pack & pre-ordered merch at school reception:

  • Thursday 5th June – 3:00–4:00pm
  • Friday 6th June – 3:00–4:00pm
  • Sunday 8th June – 9:00–10:15am

  • BBQ tokens (if pre-ordered)
  • Any pre-ordered merch
