My father-in-law John Merritt has been living with MND for many years. In the past we used to go out for walks along the Cornish coastal footpath or across Bodmin Moor together but now our walks are limited to a couple of steps across his bedroom in the care home he is living in. It would be great to be able to halt or reverse the progress of MND and this needs research.
I am lucky to be fit and healthy and am reminded by my memories of the 'good old days' with John, to make the most of our healthy years.This fundraising page benefits the following good cause:

London City Swim is a charity swim, taking place in Royal Victoria Dock in London on the 21st September 2018, to raise awareness and vital funds for motor neurone disease (MND) research. Come and swim in the beautiful waters of this national centre of excellence.
