On the 19th July we had the devastating news that my sister Jo was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Particularly from Dr Nikhil Sharma and his team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

"We were so sorry to hear of Jo's diagnosis. She is a great character and we have many memories of our times together as lifeguards on the River Thames and in the local swimming pools. Sallie has done so well to come out of swimming retirement and complete The London City Swim. Congratulations and our best wishes to Jo."
