Thank you for popping in to see my fundraising page. Yes, you may call me mad, but I am cycling from London to Cannes in March 2019.
Why
Over six days 200 cyclists will take part in a relay from London to the MIPIM property fair in Cannes. This charity relay provides a fantastic challenge, excellent networking opportunities and a chance to change the lives of those most in need.
I am very fond of the work that Club Peloton does for charities like Coram, MSA Trust and Tom’s Trust, but especially their new partner - Cyclists Fighting Cancer Charity. They assist children and young people living with cancer across the UK with their physical fitness, strength, mental wellness and confidence by giving them new bikes, specially adapted trikes, tandems, other equipment and support!
Where to
MIPIM, is one of the most prominent property conferences in the world and myself and my colleagues at CD International have been attending it since its establishment 30 years ago. This would be my thirteens year, so on a baker's dozen (I am a keen baker, so you know), I have decided to do something different rather than to hop on the plane.
What I will do

Over six days cyclists will take part in a relay from London to the MIPIM property fair in Cannes. Each rider completes an average of two 60km stages each day, with a break of up to 4 hours between each stage. Riders will complete at least 720km over the 6 days.
This charity relay provides you with a fantastic challenge, excellent networking opportunities and a chance to change the lives of those most in need.
THE RIDE
Included:
- Hotel accommodation for the period from the 7th to the 11th March (inclusive)
- Lunch for the period from the 7th to the 12th March (inclusive)
- Dinner for the period 7th to the 11th March (inclusive)
- Coffee, tea and snacks whilst on the road
- Bike transport from Cannes back to London
- Mechanical backup (labour only)

Not included:
- Holiday, Travel, Medical and Bike Insurance
- Mechanical spares
- Alcohol and soft drinks at lunch and dinner
- MIPIM entry
- Return travel from Cannes to the UK
A full refund minus a £299 non-refundable deposit will be available until Monday 10th December.
