Having missed my flight home from MIPIM last year (oops!) i'm cutting costs and cycling the 1,500km to Cannes in 2019.
Since purchasing my first road bike in 2008 I have been a keen social cyclist, and have always enjoyed challenging myself on the bike. Having always talked of cycling to Cannes, this year I have gone one step further and actually signed up.
I have undertaken a number of challenges in the past, riding the Olympic route, cycling to Brighton, 24 hours in Newport Velodrome...but never on a scale like this!
Training over the winter will be tough, cold mornings, dark nights, hours on the turbo trainer, but hopefully it will all pay off in the end.
Please help me reach my target of raising £3,000 for Coram, supporting them and the fantastic work they do finding loving and secure homes for some of the most vulnerable and hard-to-place children in the country.Over six days cyclists will take part in a relay from London to the MIPIM property fair in Cannes. Each rider completes an average of two 60km stages each day, with a break of up to 4 hours between each stage. Riders will complete at least 720km over the 6 days.
This charity relay provides you with a fantastic challenge, excellent networking opportunities and a chance to change the lives of those most in need.
THE RIDE
