About Patrick Kerr

Profile picture

As many of you know, this event started as a thank you to the Royal Marsden for saving the life of our friend Manny. Since then, I have had other friends and family face breast cancer diagnoses, including some who sadly have passed away as a result. This disease is pervasive and invidious. Happily, the charity has become something to celebrate, making serious in-roads into the research needed to help victims get the best treatment.

About Le Cure 2026

Dear Curistas

As you probably know, if you've got this far, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  So far we have raised over £3.8 million to fund our 8 Le Cure Research Fellowships (and counting), but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.

The route for 2026 includes the formidable Cime de la Bonette (the highest paved road in the Alps), the Col de l'Iseran (the highest mountain pass) and the might Col d'Izoard - fondly remembered from our first ever Le Cure.

Sign up and get cycling!  We can't wait for you to join us in the Alps to raise money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
