Having spent a significant amount of time in lycra, it is about time that I put that commitment to some use. This 4 day challenge is ideal, if daunting.
Having seen the benefit of treatment from the Royal Marsden, it makes complete sense that I help raise funds for this fantastic charity.
Dear Curistas
As you probably know, if you've got this far, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. So far we have raised over £3.8 million to fund our 8 Le Cure Research Fellowships (and counting), but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.
The route for 2026 includes the formidable Cime de la Bonette (the highest paved road in the Alps), the Col de l'Iseran (the highest mountain pass) and the might Col d'Izoard - fondly remembered from our first ever Le Cure.
Sign up and get cycling! We can't wait for you to join us in the Alps to raise money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
