I love a challenge and this is DEFINITELY a challenge!
Although I am going to be pushed out of my comfort zone it is for so many fantastic reasons - health and fitness aside, this night is also to raise money for charity!
Mind Jersey is a charity that provides support to people living with mental illness.
Mental health and well-being should be something that is discussed more openly. It includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being and affects how we think, feel, and act. It also determines how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.
Mental health is not and should not be a taboo subject, it is a fact of everyday life.
Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey offers free emotional support, practical information and group support to people in Jersey with any type of cancer and at any stage, along with their families and friends.
Cancer is increasing and by 2020 it is estimated that nearly 1 in 2 of the population will receive a cancer diagnosis at some time during their lives.
Help me to raise money for these fantastic charities by sponsoring me - a little goes a long way!
Thanks everyone :)
