About Hope Baker

Profile picture

I’m taking part in the Yeovil Hospital Half Marathon this year as a personal challenge and as a way to give something back to a place that means a great deal to my family. Yeovil Hospital has been there for us during some really important and challenging times (especially recently), providing incredible care and support. Because of this, I’m hoping to raise money specifically for the Cardiology Department and the Orthopaedic Unit, to help support the incredible work they have done for my family and many others. I also haven’t been running consistently for a while, so this race is also a way for me to get back into running and push myself again— but most importantly, it’s for a cause that’s truly close to my heart. Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will go directly towards supporting these vital departments at Yeovil Hospital. Thank you so much for your support

Yeovil Hospital Charity is Yeovil Hospital’s official charity. It raises money to fund new projects, buildings and equipment that make a difference for patients at what is often a difficult time. With the support of the community, the charity has funded a huge range of exciting projects throughout the hospital.

Yeovil Hospital Charity works hard to make a difference for patients at Yeovil hospital. The donations we receive are spent on improving the hospital’s facilities, buying new equipment and funding new projects and services that make life easier for patients at what is often a difficult time.
