About Clément-Marie Roussel

Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. So far, we have raised over £3.8 million to fund eight Le Cure Research Fellowships (and counting).

This year’s route is 397km / 246 miles, with 10,000m / 33,000 ft of climbing including Cime de la Bonette (highest paved road in the Alps), Col de l’Iseran (highest mountain pass in the Alps), Col du Galibier and other inspiring scenery (i.e. a questionable way to spend annual leave).

If you’d like to support us, we and Royal Marsden Cancer Charity would be forever grateful.

Every penny goes directly towards research. No cuts, no overheads. All run by volunteers.

And for anyone interested in checking that we actually make it Strava: @ Clement-Marie Roussel !

About Le Cure 2026

Dear Curistas

As you probably know, if you've got this far, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  So far we have raised over £3.8 million to fund our 8 Le Cure Research Fellowships (and counting), but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.

The route for 2026 includes the formidable Cime de la Bonette (the highest paved road in the Alps), the Col de l'Iseran (the highest mountain pass) and the might Col d'Izoard - fondly remembered from our first ever Le Cure.

Sign up and get cycling!  We can't wait for you to join us in the Alps to raise money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
