This year I’m taking on my first half marathon, something I never thought I’d do! After having my little girl and becoming a mum, I wanted to challenge myself, set a goal, and prove to myself that I can do it!
Cancer has taken far too many special people from my life. One of the most important was my papa, and losing him is something I carry with me every day.
Hospice care is incredibly close to my heart. It’s such a special place, somewhere that brings comfort, dignity, and compassion during the hardest times. My mum used to work there, so I’ve seen first hand just how much love and care goes into supporting both patients and their families.
I’m fundraising to honour my papa and all the loved ones we’ve lost to cancer, and to give back to a place that means so much to me. Any support truly means the world

Fundraising Information
This fundraising page benefits the following good cause:
Jersey Hospice Care is the island’s only hospice – providing specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting conditions. Services include the Specialist Palliative Care Team – who support people at home, in hospital, and in care homes, an In Patient Unit providing a home away from home, educational programmes, complementary therapy, emotional, spiritual and faith support, and community bereavement services. Jersey Hospice Care is an independent charity, providing all its services without a charge to patients. It costs £18,000 a day to run – funded mainly by the generosity of islanders. This comes in the form of donations, fundraising, and sales in our charity shops, as well as through the outstanding work of the dedicated volunteers who give their time and skills to keep Hospice running.
