Le Cure allows me to have a more positive relationship with the dreaded C word than I otherwise would. I get to ride alongside those doing incredible research into the diagnosis and curing of cancer, whilst helping to raise some valuable funds. I have lost both my mum and my brother to cancer, both in their 40s. Neither lived long after diagnosis as their cancer wasn't detected early enough. Le Cure is a wonderful collection of people pushing themselves beyond their physical limits to achieve the goal of finding a cure for breast cancer and improving early detection rates. I know their research will benefit all forms of cancer down the line. Taking part helps me to play a very small part in achieving the goal. This is my 7th Le Cure event. I had a few years off whilst supporting my brother through his illness. Each year is tough in its own way, but made easier by the generous support from friends and family who dig deep, year after year, to support my efforts. Thank you all.

About Le Cure 2026

Dear Curistas

As you probably know, if you've got this far, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  So far we have raised over £3.8 million to fund our 8 Le Cure Research Fellowships (and counting), but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.

The route for 2026 includes the formidable Cime de la Bonette (the highest paved road in the Alps), the Col de l'Iseran (the highest mountain pass) and the might Col d'Izoard - fondly remembered from our first ever Le Cure.

Sign up and get cycling!  We can't wait for you to join us in the Alps to raise money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
