Le Cure 2026 will be my 11th consecutive Le Cure, raising funds to cure breast cancer. I have done each one with my wife, Debbie, who had breast cancer in 2012 and was treated by Professor Ian Smith at The Royal Marsden.

In addition to cycling in thanks for Debbie’s recovery, I cycle in memory of dear friends who were not so fortunate - Anne, Gilly, Anne, Ruth and Patsy.

Le Cure is unique: every pound raised goes directly to leading edge projects selected by Professor Smith and the Head of Breast Cancer Research at The Royal Marsden, Professor Nick Turner (who both cycle with us). We cyclists pay all our own costs.

Thank you for considering supporting Le Cure.

About Le Cure 2026

Dear Curistas

As you probably know, if you've got this far, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  So far we have raised over £3.8 million to fund our 8 Le Cure Research Fellowships (and counting), but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.

The route for 2026 includes the formidable Cime de la Bonette (the highest paved road in the Alps), the Col de l'Iseran (the highest mountain pass) and the might Col d'Izoard - fondly remembered from our first ever Le Cure.

Sign up and get cycling!  We can't wait for you to join us in the Alps to raise money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
