Dementia Jersey Mont Orgueil Castle abseil - Saturday 21st March & Sunday 22nd March

Are you ready for an adrenaline-filled experience that will make a lasting impact? Abseil down the iconic Mont Orgueil Castle while enjoying stunning views of Gorey. Not only will you conquer your fears, but your participation will help raise vital funds and awareness for Dementia Jersey, making a huge difference in the lives of those impacted by dementia.

Event Details:

• Training Day: Saturday, 21st March
  Mandatory 1.5-hour session at the Observation Tower, Noirmont Point

• Abseil Day: Sunday, 22nd March
  Experience the thrill of descending the historic Castle walls!

Fundraising: We ask each participant to raise a minimum of £100. A personal fundraising page will be automatically set up when you register. Every pound you raise helps provide vital support for people in Jersey living with dementia.

Timings: Time slots will be allocated closer to the time but in the meantime, please ensure you are free between 8.30-2pm on Saturday and 10am-2pm on Sunday. 

Please note: Friends and family coming to cheer you on will need to pay the Castle entry fee unless they hold a Heritage pass.

The training day and abseil will be delivered by Vertical Edge.

Participants must be a minimum age of 16 if accompanied by an adult, otherwise the minimum age is 18. Due to the nature of this event participants should be of reasonable physical fitness. Should you have any personal health concerns or queries as to whether this activity will be suitable for you, please get in touch and we can discuss further. 

If the abseil is unable to go ahead due to adverse weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, the contingency dates for the event are 6th and 7th June. By registering, you agree to be available on these dates. Refunds will not be issued if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event.
