This August I'm taking on the biggest cycling challenge I have ever attempted as I join 60 other cyclists in the Alps to ride 397km in four days with 10,000 metres of climbing to raise money for Le Cure, a breast cancer charity. The route includes at least one climb from the Tour de France each day and will be four very long and exhausting days in the saddle pedalling away for a great cause!
Le Cure is a small charity started by cyclists, and since 2014 it has raised an incredible £3.8 million for cancer research at The Royal Marsden. This has made a huge difference, funding eight research fellowships whose pioneering work has changed how breast cancers are found and treated both in the UK and around the world. We all know of friends and family who have been affected by this terrible disease and if you feel able to support me, no matter how small your donation, I would be enormously grateful. Every contribution will help The Royal Marsden get that one step closer to a future beyond cancer, thank you!

About Le Cure 2026

Dear Curistas

As you probably know, if you've got this far, Le Cure de France is a charity cycling event established in 2014 to raise money for breast cancer research at the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.  So far we have raised over £3.8 million to fund our 8 Le Cure Research Fellowships (and counting), but have much more work to do to help cure cancer.

The route for 2026 includes the formidable Cime de la Bonette (the highest paved road in the Alps), the Col de l'Iseran (the highest mountain pass) and the might Col d'Izoard - fondly remembered from our first ever Le Cure.

Sign up and get cycling!  We can't wait for you to join us in the Alps to raise money to fund new, cutting-edge cancer research at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
