The Island Walk has always been something that I have wanted to attempt but had never been quite crazy enough to sign up for - it was on the things to do before I was 30 bucket list then it got lost And upgraded to the things to do before I’m 40 list! When I found out that the Jersey Childcare Trust was one of the charity’s the walk was raising money for this year I thought why not! there couldn’t be a better year to try the challenge!
As lots of you know the Jersey Child Care Trust is very important to me! It’s a charity like no other and offers support to children and families who need it the most! It is a charity that not only I work for but also that Lochlan has become a young Ambassador of as even he can see the difference it makes at only 8 years old!
Lochlan is also part of the reason I have signed up this year as he has taken his Young ambassador role very seriously and upon hearing about the JCCT being one of the walks charities in a YA meeting he has pestered me to sign up Everyday!
