The Chinnocks Chase is a 10 km trail run set in the stunning countryside around the Chinnocks in South Somerset, encompassing stiff climbs, long descents, tracks, lanes, fields, stiles and holloways in beautiful, rolling countryside. Running territory at its best, the 10 km is a tough trail run through stunning scenery, don't expect a personal best! There is also a shorter, flatter 5 km run for the less adventurous but with equally great surroundings, and the 2 km is a fun run for our younger competitors or anyone else who would like a go!
The race has been set up to help raise funds for West Chinnock Primary School PFA to help build the children a much needed library. West Chinnock Primary is a small school with just over 50 children. Being a small school school has enormous benefits but funds are very limited. The aim is to build a new, purpose built library that will make a huge difference to the childrens' experience.
Registration starts at 9.30am. If you want to register on the day you can, but please get to us early (there is a £2 ticket surcharge on the day). Registering in advance is recommended to avoid queues.
