Fundraising Information

This fundraising page benefits the following good cause:

Jersey Hospice Care

Jersey Hospice Care is the Island’s only hospice – providing specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting conditions. Services include the Specialist Palliative Care Team – who support people at home, in hospital, and in care homes, an In Patient Unit providing a home away from home, educational programmes, complementary therapy, emotional, spiritual and faith support, and community bereavement services. Jersey Hospice Care is an independent charity, providing all its services without a charge to patients. It costs £22,000 a day to run – funded mainly by the generosity of Islanders. This comes in the form of donations, fundraising, and sales in our charity shops, as well as through the outstanding work of the dedicated volunteers who give their time and skills to keep Hospice running.

About Jersey Hospice Care Moonlight Walk 2027

Every step, a memory.

Walking together to remember the people we hold in our hearts.

Join us for the Jersey Hospice Care Moonlight Walk, a special evening to remember the people we love, celebrate their lives and carry their memories with us every step of the way.

You can register on the night, but booking in advance would really help us with our planning.

Choose your walk

Both walks start at 21:00 from St Brelade’s Parish Hall, with two distances to choose from.

Half Moon Walk – 5k (approx. 1.5 hours)

Follow the seafront to Layby 7, opposite Coronation Park, before returning to St Brelade’s Parish Hall, where a well-earned cup of tea and slice of cake will be waiting.

Full Moon Walk – 10k (approx. 2.5 hours)

Starting at St Brelade’s Parish Hall, follow the seafront to La Fregate, where there’ll be a water stop before you make your way back to the hall for a well-earned cup of tea and cake.

Whether you choose 5k or 10k, every step is an opportunity to remember someone special and share in a meaningful evening with others who understand.

Good to know

Route support: Volunteer marshals will be positioned along the route to help guide and support walkers.

Parking: Parking is available at St Brelade’s College for the duration of the walk. Please avoid the private parking spaces on the right as you enter. Our thanks to St Brelade’s College for kindly supporting the event.

Registration closes at 08:00 on Saturday 12 June.

With thanks to our sponsor

A heartfelt thank you to CSC for supporting the Moonlight Walk and helping us bring people together to remember the lives of those we hold in our hearts.
