English Cities Fund (ECF) are one of many organisations sponsoring this event and I have been given the challenge of flying the flag for Muse Developments who along with Legal & General and Homes England form the ECF partnership. The event is run by Club Peloton with the chosen charities being Coram who support vulnerable children, and CRISIS who support homeless people.
The ride will total 330km over 2 days through County Durham to the Yorkshire Dales and on to Manchester. Whilst being a keen cyclist, this will represent a demanding challenge for me and therefore any donation you are able to offer, however small, will be much appreciated and of course, be for two worthwhile charities.

This 2 day ride will assemble on Wednesday 4th September at our hotel in Newcastle - Jury's Inn Newcastle Quayside - for check-in (15:00), registration (18:00) and dinner (19:30). The cycle itself will be two full days, beginning on the morning of Thursday 5th September and finishing at approximately 16:30 on Friday 6th September.
Please note: Travel to the start (Newcastle) on Wednesday 4th and from the finish (Manchester) on Friday 6th is not included.
Riders will complete approximately 200miles as we make our way from Newcastle to Manchester via Harrogate.
Day 1 (Thursday 5th September): Newcastle to Harrogate

There will be at least three designated stops and 4 stages each day - 1st Stop: coffee, 2nd Stop: lunch, 3rd Stop: coffee. There is the option for riders to take one of these stages off the road should they wish.
